    Some Great Events Happening June 21, 22, and 23

    Friday, June 21

     

    Food Truck Friday: Every Friday through Labor Day from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm is Food Truck Friday at the Waukesha County Airport! During Food Truck Fridays, the Waukesha County Airport hosts local food trucks next to the terminal. Entry is free and the event is family friendly! Come out and enjoy some great food from Marco Pollo this Friday!

    Kettle Moraine Days: This is a family fun event that runs all weekend long! There is food, rides, kid friendly activities, a car show, and even fireworks on Friday and a parade on Sunday! Grab the family and make this weekend amazing!

    Pewaukee Beach Party: Kick off the first of the three-day beach party from 5 pm to 11 pm! Bring the family out and enjoy fresh food and cold beverages all night long alongside live entertainment. Then come back on Saturday morning for a pancake breakfast, check out the Clean Water Festival, and finally enjoy the Pewaukee Lake Water Ski Club performance along with many other activities that are occurring all weekend long!     Waukesha’s Friday Night Live: This is a great family event that occurs every Friday through August! The streets are shut down at 6:30 pm and the event runs until 9:00 pm! Kids can run through the streets, dancing and playing. It is a great way to relax with family and friends on a Friday night, grab something to eat, and listen to some music!

    Bands at the Beach: Bring the family out and enjoy this free live outdoor concert at the bandshell in Oconomowoc! Take a seat in the grass or on the beach. This weekend features the Road Crew. This event is a must attend at least once this summer!

    Saturday, June 22

    Lake Country Clean Water Festival: This free family friendly event runs in conjunction with the Kiwanis Beach Party! This is an opportunity for the kids to learn outdoor activities and learn what our local water systems have to offer!     NPC Brew City Muscle Madness: This event is a men and women’s bodybuilding competition. The National Qualifier to be exact!It runs from 5 pm until 8:30 pm. There are concessions and bar services available. Pre-Judging tickets are $15 and are available at the door. This is a unique experience and makes for a fun evening.

    Waukesha  farmers market: Looking for some fresh produce and flowers? Or a great way to start your Saturday morning? Look no further! Summer Saturdays are the time for farmers markets! Grab your friends, or your family, and make your way to the Waukesha farmers market!

    Friends of Lapham Peak Summer Solstice: This event will run from 6-9 pm at the Mike Fort Picnic Shelter at Homestead Hollow area. There will be live music, so bring your chairs and blankets to bundle up and enjoy the fun! There will be food and beverages available for purchase, and the proceeds will go toward Friends of Lapham Peak projects occurring at the park!

    Lisbon Community Festival: Looking for a fun event to tryout with your family for the first time? Check of the first ever Lisbon Community Festival! This event features live music, food and beverages, and even a car show all being held at Lisbon Community Park!

    Holy Smokes Benefit: This family friendly event will be a ton of fun and is for a great cause! Enjoy this awesome event at the Delafield Presbyterian Church from 11 am to 3:30 pm. There will be lots of food, including a bakery, live music, and games! Grab your family and friends and enjoy an afternoon of fun! This event is occurring to help out the local food pantries.

    Pewaukee Lake Waterski Show: From 5 to 8 pm, bring the family out to the Pewaukee lakefront to enjoy a waterski show! There are many water-skiing acts to see during this three hour show! Grab the family and some snacks and come enjoy a night of fun!

    Sunday, June 23

    Strawberry Festival: This is a family friendly event that will be taking place at St. Mary’s in Delafield from 11 am until 3 pm. There are plenty of fun things to do at this event. All of the proceeds will be benefitting the Diocese of Milwaukee Haiti Project. So come on out and enjoy a fun filled Sunday while helping out a local cause.

    Badgerland Ski Show: This is a free family friendly event occurring on Fowler Lake in Oconomowoc! The show starts at 2 pm and is a special alumni show!
